I’ve stayed at more than 20 resorts in the Maldives, including some well-known high-end properties . Drift Resort has several qualities that make it stand out. What I Loved Small, quiet, and tranquil The resort’s small size and peaceful atmosphere are its biggest strengths. If you are looking for genuine tranquility away from crowds, this is an excellent choice. A genuine Maldivian feel The resort has a simple, natural character that gives you a much stronger sense of being in the Maldives than many larger, more luxurious resorts. Exceptional coral reef 🐠 The house reef around this island is the best I have seen among more than 20 Maldivian resorts I have visited, including W Maldives, Raffles, and Baros. For snorkeling and marine life, this is a major advantage. Very good food Although the selection is not extensive, the food is consistently very good. I particularly appreciated that they serve local fish every day, and it is well prepared. This is something you don't always find even at higher-category resorts. Friendly staff The resort staff are friendly and welcoming throughout the property, which makes the overall experience more enjoyable. Mary in front disc was very helpful and she fixed all issues with a big smile. Beautiful lagoon and beach 🏝️ The island also has a very nice lagoon with soft sand around much of the island. Having beautiful sandy beaches together with such an excellent coral reef is quite rare in the Maldives. What Could Be Improved Reservation service This was the biggest weakness for me. The reservation service and online communication were poor, and the communication felt confusing and, at times, unfriendly. Lounge quality The lounge is quite basic and feels more like a local-level facility rather than something you would expect. Seaplane frequency Seaplane flights are relatively infrequent compared with many other Maldivian resorts, which can make the journey less convenient. - ١-منتجع صغير لكن جميل وهاديء جدا ٢- الشعب المرجانية هنا افضل ما وجدناه في المالديف في العشر سنوات الأخيرة. تنوع المرجان واختلاف الألوان وتنوع الأسماك لا يمكن ان ننساه. ٣-المطعم واحد لكن الاكل ممتاز وخاصة الأسماك المحلية التي تتوفر كل يوم. ٤- الموظفون في المنتجع لطفاء خاصة ماري التي صححت كثير من المشاكل التي سببها قسم الحجوزات.

Fantastic location with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and excellent amenities. The staff were friendly and the bathrooms were clean. A highly walkable area made exploring easy. Overall, a wonderful retreat for families with older children.
