We checked in later in the afternoon so we had a long day and when we arrived at 6:30pm, everything is shut. You have to ring a mobile number to get the reception. When I rang, we cannot hear one another due to a bad reception. One of the guests who heard us knocking opened the door and assisted us in getting the key to our room. We went to the designated room with the same key number. It wasn't long, afterwards the owner knocked on the door and checked us in as in name details,address etc. The owner said we are in the wrong room but the key took us inside the room. So it is a mixed feelings for me how to rate this service. The room is very basic and bed and pillows are tidy enough but nothing spectacular. The staff was very welcoming and friendly but the accomodation has a lot to be desired. Luckily, we were staying only staying for 1 night. It is sad because they were nice and accomodating but not happy with their accomodation.

We stayed here just prior to an early morning flight interstate. It's not a high-end hotel obviously, but for the price the location can't be beat, just up from Ellington's. The staff are also lovely and accommodating. Thanks again, Northlodge!

Booked a single room for 5 nights, did not know what to expect given the lack of accurate pictures for each room. Pleasantly surprised to be given a bigger room with a double + single bed. All in all relatively clean. My only 2 gripes are that the hot water in the shower only works for literally 10 seconds before becoming cold again so my showers were not fun. Also the sheets were only changed for the bigger bed not the smaller bed so there was still hair from previous visitors on the smaller bed. Otherwise location is very convenient and within the free transport zone.

Very cheap price for Perth metro location and close to shops and nightlife
