Le Coucou Hotel Restaurant & Lounge-Bar

The hotel is up to the mountains and need to take cable car up, but the view nearby the hotel is stunning with mountains and villages. The hotel staff are very nice. But since don't have the elevator, large luggage has to carry up to a stair.

An overnight stay chosen at the last minute turned out to be a delight. The cogwheel train takes you to Haut de Caux a two minute walk from Le Coucou. The location is excellent and the views from the lake-facing rooms are just spectacular. I sat outside and watched the Sunset across the lake. It had the feeling that you were looking at the sea. The room was comfortable and I was pleased that there was no television. The bathroom had a bath and shower over it. There was an ample supply of toiletries and luxurious towels. The staff were all very attentive and kind. The other clientele were mostly relaxed and nice. The breakfast was more than sufficient. I checked out before 11 and walked up to Rocher de Naye. A great place to stay and one night is definitely not enough.
