Broadford Backpackers Hostel

My stay at Broadpacker brought back memories of my first hostel experience, with all the perks of meeting new people and having access to a self-catered kitchen. The hostel is conveniently located near an Asda Express (petrol station) and a Co-op, making it easy to grab any essentials. We stayed in the family room, which accommodates four people with a double bed and bunk beds. Although the room was a bit compact, we were able to store our bags under the bunk bed to save space. The bed was comfortable, and we slept well. While the sink in our room was unfortunately out of order, we had plenty of showers and toilets nearby, so access was never an issue. The area can be a bit noisy, but it didn’t bother us. There’s a cozy lounge for relaxing, with options to watch TV or pick up a book. The amenities were basic but clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The dining area can accommodate about 12-15 guests at one time. The hostel also offers two washing machines and one dryer, though guests need to pay £1 for detergent. Be prepared for the dryer to take a while, as I needed to set it for at least 3 hours to fully dry my clothes. While the rates aren’t particularly cheap, they seemed to be the most affordable on Agoda.
