The Garden Rooms at Tannery House

Stayed 1 night and had a good sleep in a very comfortable bed. Clean room and pretty garden. A lovely traditional breakfast was served at another accommodation 5 minutes walk away. I took some time to locate it though but the breakfast made up for it. Bakewell itself is a lovely place to explore especially walking by the river. I definitely recommend staying at least a night here if one is visiting the Chatsworth House. Must try the Bakewell Pudding which is located very near to Tannery House. A few things to note - the host is usually not around and may take a while to respond, but the father was helpful when I did not know how to use the unique key system to my room (I apologise if I disturbed his privacy by peeping into their kitchen). Also, although they have a dog that was kept indoor during my stay, do watch out for dog poop if exploring the little garden.
