Newly renovated rooms, very clean. Dated hotel but still very comfy beds and pillows. Very close to the metro. Now here's our con: Unlike other 4-5 stars hotels that we stayed into over the past 10 years, this is by far the strictest as no leeway to check in early. Despite our request to check in early as both of us were really feeling unwell, the staff really made it clear that the check in is 3pm. Besides she said they are all fully booked hence there's no available room for us accommodate. Just tried checking the web and in fact they still have available rooms to book. We rested for a while at the lobby but unintentionally took a nap. Then, suddenly the Manager's demeanour was really off/ somehow a tad rude and said you can't sleep here as my director will kill me! Ok fine Madam. It was quite frustrating, especially when you were not feeling well. The way the situation was handled could have been more empathetic and understanding. Believe it's really important for hotel staff to be accommodating and considerate, especially in situations where guests are not feeling their best. The only redeeming factor was she managed to find us a room quickly. Anyway, the rest of our stay was more enjoyable despite the rocky start.

Les chambres sont très grandes, nous avions vu sur le Lac léman, vraiment top. Quelques petites places pour se garer juste devant l'hôtel mais il faut être les premiers. Hôtel bien situé, car près des transports, restos, café, etc... Il est à peu près à 30 minutes de marche du bord du lac

Excellent
Room including the bed was very comfortable and spotless clean. Air con worked well in the hot weather. Very nice coffee and the breakfast was average for four star hotel. Location is superb for city transport and the central station is 5 min walk away but not noisy. We were lucky to have a free hotel parking place. The staff is very cheerful and helpful. Thank you to you all.
