We have stayed a few times . The staff are so friendly and looking like a good working team which is nice to observe . Brenda is so helpful . They are improving little things all the time .like the new position of the breakfast table .works so much better .

My wife and I made a last minute booking to extend a stay on the South Coast. I imagine that all establishments without air con would be struggling during the very high day and night time temperatures. Staff were welcoming and helpful with regards to moving us from an unbearably hot loft room to a larger, cooler room on the first floor, shortly after checking in and being shown to the first location. However in both cases, windows only partially opened so we were reliant on a fan running through the night at the end of the bed. All rooms overlooking the sea could have benefitted far more from even a small coastal breeze if the windows could have opened properly. We enjoyed breaakfast the following morning after a beautiful coastal walk accessed within metres of the house. The property was once the incredibly beautiful home of Alexander Siemens and his family, hosting royalty, politicians and celebrities along the way. The staff are very warm, welcoming, helpful and attentive......however, the owners are clearly happy to provide what might be described as a rather lack-lustre mediocre experience, as opposed to what could be created (with the right approach, dedication, passion, design and investment) to produce one of the most outstanding guest properties on the South Coast. No doubt it is the 'bottom line' that will interest the owners, so if profits are good and bookings full in seasonal periods and regular the rest of the time, then of course there is absolutely no incentive to create anything more beautiful; and it's the public/tourists that obviously dictate this. All in all, a hugely missed opportunity.

Had a fantastic stay at the Beachhouse Hotel . An old historic building with bundles of character the room we had was spacious with a fantastic view. A little disappointed with the tv accessibility but not here for the tv. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful hotel i would recommend and we would definitely stay again ,had brilliant time.

The Beach House is a lovely comfortable hotel with wondrrful views out to sea. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We had an evening meal at the hotel which was excellent, very tasty and well presented. The breakfast offered lots of alternatives from cereals to a full English. Would happily recommend.

Comfortable rooms and beds, great staff, easy parking. Historic building with great location, can walk to local stores and restaurants.
