Come here to enjoy some peace and quiet. Hear birds chirping everywhere. Has access to the bird hides which are included in the accomodation costs. Cabin is basic but very clean. Standing fan is provided but you hardly need it in Feb when the fresh mountain air is drawn in from the open windows with netting to keep insects out. Delicious and simple congee breakfast served in morning. Friendly hosts. Owner is a bird guide. Can engage his services for a day to Doi Inthanon summit or other birding hotspots. Really enjoyed our stay and will visit again.

Simple yet func

Boontan and Nee are wonderful people. Boontan took us birdwatching as a guide for 2.5 days. He knows his birds and he speaks English quite well. Nee made the most delicious Thai breakfast every morning on our deck. The most delicious rice porridge ever. She arranged for us to have a cooking class to learn how to make it! They are lovely people. The rooms, however, are less than basic. The bathrooms have holes in the wall and the walls in the room need work. The price was high for what we got. They are lovely people. I would definitely hire Boontan again as a bird guide but for the same price, you can book a room just up the road in a newly renovated place.
