Enjoyed spending a couple of days at the Motlety in the Richmond area. Hotel was excellent and lots to do in local neighborhood.

Beautiful Hotel and staff. Restaurant and bar was lovely. Dinner was delicious. Great location, out of the City but close. Lovely restaurants and cafes close by

One night stay to attend the footy at the MCG. Great room, clean and spacious. Good location to the MCG, and a delicious breakfast.

The staff were wonderful nothing was any trouble, the room was excellent great view of Richmond. The restaurant staff were unbelievably awesome

Absolutely loved this hotel. Wish we were there longer. The furnishings and decor is just stunning, while also being impeccably clean and well laid out. The General Manager who checked us in on Monday 31 Jan 2026 was absolutely delightful and made us feel so welcome - professional yet genuine, which is so rare these days. I didn't catch their name, but the Hilton better realise they have a star employee in this person. I heard them taking to a number of their staff as we were checking out, and I could hear and see how they care about their job and respect and support their team. It was so good because they didn't realise we could see/hear, so it wasn't for our benefit, they were just genuinely fantastic. The accessibility in our bathroom was pretty solid, no step in for the shower, a nice big mirror, a shower bench and a number of handrails. Perhaps they could move the iron down to where it can be reached without being requested, although it might be a safety consideration (not that you'd have children at this hotel... so maybe one to consider. Also hanging space within reach for guests who cannot reach above head height - but these are just some ideas, otherwise most features including light switches, locks, the safe, towels, shower hooks were all in very good locations to be within reach for the great majority of guests. Additionally, I commend this hotel on its lighting versatility. Photosensitive guests like me will appreciate the ability to adjust lighting to what works for you. Finally a hotel room where I don't have to walk around in darkness to avoid a migraine. Other hotels could learn a lot! Adjustable lighting is an overlooked accessibility consideration in most hotels, or anywhere really, and although this might have been due to creating mood and ambience, it still meets these guest needs in an effortless and practical way. While ensuring a great aesthetic tied together the whole place, the comfort was also high end on every facet, and for the price this place overdelivered. The bed was actually like sleeping on a cloud, the robes and towels were soft but sturdy and the side table and chair were so comfy I took a photo so I could hunt down similar style chairs when I am refurbishing my own home one day. I absolutely will be finding an excuse to head back to Melbourne and spend longer in this exquisite hotel, with its location being so ideal with a Coles and tram line right there, and a short walk to the Corner Hotel where we attended a gig. Loved it, love it still, and I will be back!
