Lots has been said regarding the area itself. It is a good beach with lots of activities to do in Sandunes. Though all the activites that were promised were not there which is something related to Sandunes and not of the resort itself. This review is regarding the Mango Hill La Serene resort. It is a good place to stay for families. The rooms are quite spacious and the beds are quite comfy. The accessories were vintage and chosen well. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The only issue we faced was the hot water tap needed to be opened for a long time before hot water could actually flow. We had to waste atleast 3 buckets of water before actual hot water would flow. The swimming pool is good and the water in it was clean, much better than other resorts that I have visited. The water was soft and not heavily chlorinated. The food was good and tasty. The breakfast spread was also good. But the time taken to finish the order was a little on the higher side. Have already given feedback that they should start to provide food faster when ordered. Cost of the food seems to be on the higher side but it was good. The whole family enjoyed the food with no complaints which in itself is a great achievement. The resort has basic facilities and a little more investment is done to create a few more amenities like cycles and may be some indoor games, it would make the stay nicer. Overall a good place to stay and would recommend it to all people who want to have some time to unwind in Pondy.

Great place location-wise, great staff hospitality and service, food, hygiene and cleanliness, nice property landscaping, nice well maintained big swimming pool in the backyard. Great value for money.

Recently we stayed here for three nights.it was really wonderful and i loved the ambiance of the hotel. Rooms are really specious, neat and clean. Staff is very humble and supportive. I missed my one package at the hotel while checkout, they called nd courier my package to my address the very next day.Its a great place to stay again. Thanks for the wonderful service! The rooms were clean and location was outside the city, very peaceful and nice place to relax. The rooms were also very spacious, good for family and large groups too. Swimming pool was very clean, food was very nice and ok for the price. Morning buffet was nice, really we enjoyed the stay here, would recommend if below cons are ok for you. Cons: if you have a car to reach only then puch, no beach view but it's walkable, little costly.
