Chandera Kothi is a unique property, distinct from anything I have experienced before. It is rustic surrounded by wilderness and Betwa river at a distance. The owner was very helpful before we started our trip and gave good recommendations on vendors of taxi, guides etc. However, the property is quite bare bones for the price it commands. The breakfast is extremely limited. The food at property is too expensive for its quality. When they serve tea, it is not accompanied by even a plate of cookies or kharas. There is no call bell and you have to either use mobile phone or step out of your room to summon helpers. The property has minimum power back-up so when power fails, ACs don't work- only one light and fan. Fixing all of this is fairly simple and it can really elevate guest experience without costing much.

Beautiful stay …
Chandera kothi proved to be the right choice for us. Beautifully located besides the river. Clean and aesthetically done up rooms . Food was delicious and simple just like home. Neha is a good cook and happy to cook up as per your taste !
