We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Schmid and Alfa. We booked a total of five nights in a room with lake view. The view was magnificent. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and started every day with perfection. This hotel is the first stop on our Switzerland and Germany trip, and we were supposed to arrive in Zurich airport (from Dallas) at 7 am. Sadly, due to horrible weather in DFW, we were changed to a flight to Madrid, then a 9 hour layover, getting in to Zurich at a little before 11pm. The hotel worked with us on a solution for checking after hours, and we were happily in our room a little before 2am (train connections from the airport to Brunnen are slow in the middle of the night). After all the travel trauma, we were ecstatic to see the hotel! Schmid and Alfa absolutely exheeded our expectations! Thank you to the staff for helping us with our very trying arrival day and for being great on all the other days too! Book a trip here! You will love it, I'm sure!

Location is fantastic and the staff was great The size if the apartment was good But no Air Condition available It’s too hot to stay in without AC in the mid of the summer Thanks
