If you looking for a secluded private beach, this is the perfect spot! Just keep in mind it comes with minimal facilities, charging your phone might be tricky, but hey, there’s no telco network anyway. The owner is really nice, the beach is superb, and the scenery is heavenly. By the way, there buffalo roaming around!

Took a 2 days 1 night stay here at Beachaven Chalet. Pretty much cramped up all activities into these 2 days. Would recommend a 3 days 2 night stay to enjoy the nearby Pandan Island, which can be explored by kayaking from the chalet to the island. We had so much of fun. We had a bonus package of clear skies for a beautiful sunset and stargazing later in the night. Highly recommended to those who loves nature. Please do bring along mosquito repellents(it’s a must). A shoutout to Asrab and Adib, the staffs of Beachaven who ensured our safety and also cooked up delicious meals for our breakfast and lunch. ❤️❤️❤️

The location is unbeatable with incredible reef and beach area. Perfect for relaxing. However, there were a number of issues, firstly the staff all seemed grumpy, before we arrived, not a happy bunch at all. The food was monotomous, we had exactly the same every day and the same water melon at every meal, the breakfast was asian, which was fine, but as westerners an occasional piece of toast would have been wonderful. The other main issies were the mosquito nets were holey and did not fit the bunk beds, so both my kids ended up with dozen of bites. They ended up having to share my bed. Also the dogs were noisy all night and came onto our balcony everynight which made an awful mess. Also, for the price I was expecting an exclusive use of the chalet. We ended up having to share it with the staff who occupied the adjoining room, and with just flimsy wooden walls, you can imagine what we heard! It also meant that our privacy was lost. Finally, the tpilet is in the open, which looks wonderful when its dry, but sittong down to do you business in monsoon rain is really unpleasant! Overall a wonderful place, but needs a lot of adjusment to make it value for money.
