I stayed here in a dorm for 3 nights (around ₹350 per night). Overall, it was a very good experience. I reached at night and there was no transport due to traffic, so I had to walk. I called the guest house, and the owner kindly came on a scooter and picked me up from around 5 km away without charging anything. I really appreciated that. The guest house is on top of a hill with a nice view. It was clean and peaceful. Even though I booked a dorm, I got the whole room to myself, which was nice. There is also an ashram with a Krishna temple nearby, and I used to go there daily. Good place if you want quiet and calm surroundings. Only issue was food. There is no restaurant nearby, so you have to eat at the guest house. There was no clear menu or pricing. I was told it’s “normal”, but later I found it cost around ₹300 per meal, total ₹1200, which felt expensive for me. Overall, stay was very nice, just food pricing should be clearer.

Fabulous experience

I stay in hotels regularly, so I’m not new to this — but this was by far the worst experience of my life. I booked this place expecting a proper hotel, but the reality was completely different. When I reached there with my wife, I immediately realized this is not a hotel, just a poorly managed guest house. The location is extremely remote — at night, there is no one around within 2 km. To make things worse, there were no other guests at all and only one male staff member present. In that situation, it felt completely unsafe to stay there with my wife. When I asked about dinner, they said there is no food service and handed over a menu from another restaurant. Not only do you have to arrange food yourself, but you also have to go and collect it — which is ridiculous in such an isolated area. When I raised these genuine concerns, the lady on call was extremely rude and arrogant. Her response was: “I didn’t force you to book, you can go somewhere else. etc” Major Problems: - Fake photos — reality is totally different - Not a hotel, just a guest house - Very remote and unsafe location - Not suitable for couples or women - No food or basic services - Overpriced external food - No guests, only one male staff - Extremely rude and unprofessional behavior

The guest house is located at a beautiful location sunset from here is amazing You can see the snowcladded mountains on one side and the other side you can witness mesmerizing view of Dharamshala city. 😊✌️ It's 10 on 10
