Neat and clean. Fantastic F & B staff. Stunning view.

Good stay with my family. Clean rooms. Staff and front desk staff was polite and helpful .Good room services. Suggestion: Must have activity, indoor game area so that guests can spend time during bad weather. Also, pool area and equipments were in very bad conditions. Please get a bit larger area and new equipments/que sticks/balls etc to play same. Although nothing to complaint, but just a positive suggestion.

Our stay at Radisson Sonamarg was overall pleasant, especially considering the challenging high-altitude location. The views from the property are absolutely stunning and truly one of the highlights of the stay. The rooms were comfortable and well designed; however, I would recommend checking cleanliness carefully, particularly the bathroom, for any spots before use. The main disappointment was the dining experience on our first night. We waited nearly 1.5 hours for dinner. We ordered pasta, which arrived with an overly tangy sauce. When we requested a change, the revised dish still did not meet expectations—the pasta was overcooked, the texture was compromised, and the overall flavour was not enjoyable. Based on this experience, I would suggest sticking to safer options like dal, roti, or Indian curries, as other cuisines may disappoint. The dining staff also seemed a bit confused at times, which may have contributed to the delays. One important piece of advice for future guests: please check the room heater during check-in and before going to sleep. If it is not turning off properly, get it resolved before midnight. Unfortunately, both my partner and I had a very uncomfortable night due to overheating caused by the heater. That said, the hotel staff did their best to make our stay safe and comfortable, which is appreciated given the altitude and remote location. I would still recommend this hotel for its breathtaking views and comfortable rooms, but guests should be mindful of food choices and potential waiting times of 30–45 minutes for dining.
