The location is conveniently close to all stores one may need. It is also easy to get a ride to anywhere in the island. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff.

Zemkamps Chalet is conveniently situated in San Miguel, Jordan, in the vicinity of several shops and small restaurants, with a frequent passage of tricycles. Thus this is not the kind of isolated place where one risks to get stuck. Nonetheless it is rather quiet, because at a little distance from the road. The rooms are elegant, not very large but not too small either, the beds comfortable. Every room has also a little table outside on the balcony, which is a pleasant place to stay at night. The most pleasant part was the breakfast (various formulas to be chosen from a menu the evening before), taken together with Sir Eugene, the charming owner of the property, whose conversation was most instructive and enjoyable. We were also able to appreciate his dedication and kindness after we awoke him past 11 pm to solve a little problem related to the air conditioning, problem which was immediately solved and we had a very good sleep! Should we come again to Guimaras, Zemkamps Chalet will be the obvious choice!

I had a good stay at zemkamps chalet. The place is good for unwinding and it is very convenient you have everything you need at your reach because you are surrounded by businesses. The staff are very accommodating you just ask them what you need and they will help you. The wifi is good and strong. Our stay at the second day, there was a scheduled 12 hours power outage they have generator but it was not able to power the aircon in the room properly but it was not hot. We just open the window and air was good. It was a worth it stay. Definitely will go back again.

Beautiful period accommodation set in a gorgeous, secluded green area, yet just moments from the main high street. The property was clean, full of character, and far exceeded my expectations. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. I was expecting something much more modest, so I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the accommodation and surroundings were. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here and would happily return.
