Kingfisher House

Stayed 2 nights at the garden view room, and enjoyed the stay! Room was small but cozy and comfortable. The attached balcony was a good area to dry our laundry. It was also a chill place to relax, and admire the garden. We love the friendly, homey atmosphere. Staff were helpful and made us feel comfortable. Simple breakfast at the dining hall was delicious. We also love the dogs in the premises. This is the place I will stay at again, if I return to Sangklaburi

Good stay and close the Thai-Mon bridge.

The highlight was breakfast, probably the most substantial and lovingly prepared included breakfast I have had in Thailand. I think I was the only person staying in the hotel. The room had a musty smell. The beds and pillows were super soft. The room was probably one of the smaller ones in the building - a little tight to move around. It was fine for a one night say. Booking rooms online, this place seemed to be one of the few offering a twin room. But any shortcomings were forgiven when I saw the breakfast, eggs, sausages and toast for me, pad grapow moo shop, rice and egg for my friend, yoghurt and bananas and a plate of 4 varieties of fruit for my Thai mate. There is a well maintained swimming pool. The location is fairly central and close to the bridge. The fridge and a basket on top are full of extra items to purchase. I think this place is more likely to appeal to faring than resorts catering for Thai people.

The room is so lovely, very clean, bed is so comfy, and worth the price. Breakfast is not so variety but trust me it’s so good and it can make you feel like eating at home. Location is walkable to the bridge. Staff are so friendly. Love it.
