It's written that the property was not far to walk but with lots of uphills and uneven pavement, the walk was a struggle though only 15 mins walk. Food choices In Kampung Genting are limited. The breakfast buffet has limited chioce, all of it carbohydrates and only protein eggs. Food at the resort is expensive and not worth it. Pizza came flattened and ingredients thrown on it. Had a lot of bugs in the room. Room is not clean, with stained curtains. Even beach towels were stained.

Not Worth the price

Poor service and facilities
First, nobody came to pick up my luggage from the jetty. I dragged my bag all the way to the resort and complained, the excuse was that they didn't receive the information, which was not true, since they had replied to my email earlier confirming the appointment. The room didn't even have a chair inside, only a bed with very little space around it and a small rack, nothing else. The fungus smell was so bad that we started coughing every time we entered the room. Went back and complained but nothing happened. -- Sorry, we are fully booked they said. Breakfast was ok for local standards, but don't understand why people had to remove their shoes to go in when the cats were jumping on the tables and even the monkeys would go in there sorting out the rubbish during the day. The staff ok but not exactly friendly, no. --Or maybe I was marked because I complained about the room and the not picking up. Overall not good, for me never again!

Short getaway
I have stayed in the deluxe room with sea view with another 3 friends, the space is sufficient, bathroom is quite clean. However, there is only one door lock for the room, no latch for the room. Hair dryer needs to be requested from the counter, was not convenient if wants to bath at night. Breakfast provided. There are a lot of bugs in the room at night even with the door closed. In conclusion, is a not bad place to stay for a short vacation.
