We fell in love with the place the moment we stepped in. It exuded a unique Balinese charm. Guests can choose from native styled units to modern 2 floor apart type units . I appreciated the ample space and the well maintained and well manicured gardens. There was a lot of thought in the over all design and ambiance giving guests a relaxing feel. Being surrounded by rice fields and with free flowing water from the mountains, and a variety of bird species,, Samkara provides guests with the experience of being close to nature yet enjoy modern amenities. Our son enjoyed feeding the ducks and fish,. The pools were ice cold yet surprisingly refreshing during the hot summer months. The staff were attentive, friendly and accommodating . However since some of them were students in training, there were a few who couldn’t answer some of our inquiries. The food served was reasonably priced .I’m a bit underwhelmed by the pizza but the breakfast of longanisang Lucban was so satisfying . We will certainly come back with the family.

Booked there bcoz friends daughter from Portugal was shooting a movie about Magellan in Sampaloc and Mauban. Had lunch at Samkara before with some fellow big bike riders. Place is cute . Farm type . Rooms are cute and maintained but not sound proof and there are many stupid open pipe moped ,tricycles and jeepneys!!! NOISY bastards. Staff is really helpful and fast to fulfill our requests. Bfast is nice . Had a good 2 nights stay.

Relaxing
If you want to get away from manila and relax, this is convenient. It is just about 2 and a half hour drive. You'll have view of their farm from your accommodation.

Great place to relax and unwind.
It's easy to travel to. The place is well maintained and aesthetic. Staffs are respectful and accomodating. I loved the pool's cool water. It's scary at first as it literally feels like iced water when you touch it, but when im completely soaked in it, it's relaxing and refreshing to the bones. I wish I could stay a lot longer. I like the room it's spacious and aesthetic as well. Overall, great place. Worth the leave and the penny.

The place was huge and lots to see specially if you are a nature lovers and their foods was superb especially thier free breakfast that caters not only on regular filipino silog meals
