If you're planning to visit Cagayan de Oro or have family looking for a peaceful place to stay away from the busy city, Our Story Boutique Hotel is a good option. It has a relaxing atmosphere, beautiful gardens, and charming spots that are perfect for taking photos and videos, especially for weddings, prenups, or special occasions. The giant teacup and landscaped garden are definitely some of the hotel's highlights. However, if you're someone who's very particular about cleanliness, this hotel may not fully meet your expectations. Since the property is bird-friendly and also welcomes dogs and cats, you'll notice bird droppings in some common areas, including parts of the restaurant, around the pool, and occasionally near the elevators. While I appreciate that the hotel is pet- and bird-friendly, I believe it would greatly benefit from more frequent cleaning and additional maintenance staff to keep these shared spaces cleaner throughout the day. One thing I truly want to commend is the staff. They are friendly, accommodating, and work hard to provide excellent service. It seems that the team could simply use more manpower to better handle the needs of guests and maintain the property's beautiful surroundings. Overall, Our Story Boutique Hotel has a lot of potential and offers a unique, relaxing experience. With a little more attention to cleanliness and maintenance, it could become an even more enjoyable destination.

The staff are nice, the pool is okay. The location is outskirt the city but their 5th floor has an amazing view. The room is good. The place can improve more on cleanliness, but overall, it's good for its price. We had a good time.

Such a find. A little out of CdO for sure but facilities like pool and breakfast restaurant area with great views make need for transit to city for anything a minor inconvenience. Small shop adjoining hotel gets the beer and snacks sorted. Small balcony from our room very useful to watch world pass by. Wifi was solid , breakfast a bit hit and miss depending on ingredients availability. Teacups on outside point to a most individual experience and it’s not wrong. Staff super helpful and friendly.

The hotel's facilities were top-notch, including the wonderful garden and excellent Wi-Fi. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay truly enjoyable. The cleanliness of the property was impressive, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing environment. On the downside, the value for money could be improved. However, the amenities provided were fantastic, and the parking availability was convenient. Overall, a pleasant experience with standout features.

The place was far enough from the city for a relaxing staycation. The place looked nice and area was peaceful and quiet. Views were very nice too! Panoramic view of the sorrounding mountain. Would have given 5 stars, unfortunately, airconditioning of our room was not working. We could hear the compressor struggling all night long. The room was warm to the point where the glass windows had moisture. On. The. Inside. Part. Of. The. Window. Air was cooler in the outside than in the inside!! It really dampened our stay. For the price we paid, we expected facilities in good working condition. :( To the management, please make sure to thoroughly check all appliances and ensure they are in good working order. Your guests pay for comfort. :(
