The Base Camp Hotel, Nevis Range

Stayed in November 2025. Room and toilet/bath was incredibly neat and clean. Check in was smooth. Lift was out of order on that day. Hotel is located where road ends. So first time travellers may get confused when navigation stops working. Hotel WiFi works completely fine, no Vodafone coverage. They have a lovely bar and restaurant. Checkout time is 10AM. Free parking for guests. During summer season, I believe there would be a lot to explore in and around.

Great room, loads of space, clean and with everything you could need for a great stay

Stayed at Nevis Basecamp Hotel for one night during a short weekend trip and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and set in a quiet, peaceful location, which makes it great for relaxing. A big highlight is the discounted Nevis Range Gondola ride available for hotel guests. The gondola is a must‑do, and this perk adds real value to the stay. Overall, a good quality, well‑located hotel and a stay I would happily recommend.

This place is fabulous, it is very clean with plenty of facilities. The staff are very accommodating. It is just a very short distance to a small town with places to get food and essentials.

Only good if you are in middle of nowhere and need a roof to spend a night in. Queen size beds in large room which is small for 2 adults. Basic facilities in premises. Away from local markets. No cupboards. Small sized washroom fixtures. Room service not as expected. Dirty/hard room carpets. Can’t walk on that carpet barefoot. Lift not working.
