Our stay at this property was overall satisfactory, but there were a few aspects that could have been better. The value for money was good, as we found the rates reasonable considering the amenities provided. The staff was exceptional, always friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the property could have been improved, as we noticed some areas that needed attention. The facilities, although adequate, were not outstanding. On the positive side, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the room size was spacious. However, the location was not ideal, lacking proximity to shopping options and making it less walkable. Despite these drawbacks, we had a decent stay and would consider recommending it to others seeking stay in forest and an affordable option.

I absolutely LOVED my time at Homebar. The staff were lovely. The food was delicious! You need a car or motorbike to get around the island. But Edward was so kind and brought me wherever I wanted to go. I enjoyed walking through the jungle and being immersed in nature. The shower is outdoors, but didn’t bother me one bit! Waking up to a full breakfast complete with fruit and coffee was absolutely wonderful!

Just nice.

If you love nature and want a few nights away from the busy touristy parts of the island, this is the perfect place. Surrounded by rubber plantations and durian farms, mountain peaks around, and a river flowing right next to the place, the 4 nights were magical. Night sky was full of stars. Birds and butterflies around all the time. Room was clean and cozy, bed was comfy, multiple power sockets around, good WiFi coverage. No network range. The host was prompt in communication and very helpful. Would love to stay here again hopefully after the rain when the river is flowing freely. Highly recommend.
