My husband and I love camping.So we consider this a camping trip and truly ended up enjoying it. If you are expecting to be in a hotel style guest house you will probably be truly disappointed. But if you're expectations are low and you're there for the area , this place is perfect!

Everything in the other reviews is spot on. The hosts are amazing. The rooms are everything you need for a peaceful night tucked in the mountains. Beautiful trees line the property. And of course, the Elephants!! The prices are great, and the experiences are pure bliss. The Elephants seem very happy. You often get to see them from the accommodations. We didn't plan on doing the experiences, but after coming here and meeting the hosts we decided to book. So glad we did.

Had two nights here. The staff is nice, and the room comfortable. The Elephants are running free on the area and you can also feed them ($).

We arrived to this Homestay and immediately felt welcomed by the family that lives here. As soon as we set our bags in the room, we felt at peace sitting on the veranda of the bungalow looking out upon the rice fields and listening to all the birds, geckos and insects. The meals are home cooked and delicious, especially the Tom Yum shrimp soup! You can see the elephants grazing behind the homes in the evenings but not allowed to go visit them without their mahouts, or they will feel threatened. We enjoyed watching them from a distance our first night and partook in a tour group the next day. The family even gave us a discount on the tour for staying here. We felt well taken care of here - they even did our laundry upon request. The tour guide, Sammy, was staying in the bungalow next to us and he was very helpful with anything we needed, too. If you want just a couple days to relax and be in nature, we highly recommend this place! Even the geckos take care of you, by eating all the bugs trying to get into your room!

I’m a solo traveller, so the room with 3 single beds was overkill for me. The bathroom is simple, a bit low pressure water and hot water sometime did not work but was not a problem since the temperature at the time was around 35 degrees celcius. I would’ve gone to a higher place in Doi Inthanon, temperature is chiller during summer time. The dinner was great, breakfast amazing. And they give you enough water.
