Andrassy Kuria & Spa

This was our second stay in this hotel. I liked: +free parking in front of the hotel +very nice staff at the reception, with good English + style of The hotel and rooms +very nice wellness area and garden with pool, included in the price +check out at 11.00 +chocolate in the room +good quality of bathrobes +grill bar in the garden What wasnt so good - cleanliness. We had hair on the floor in the room. Not mine, black long hair. - for me, the bed was not comfortable at all. Very hard matress and pillow was flat. - cocktails were not listed in the menu. Overpriced aperol for 15 EUR and not good quality - restaurant. Last year, the quality of the food and especially servis was higher. The meals came one by one last year, and our waiter was very professional. Not happened this year. Young waiters, very weak english, did not know what to recommened while I’m allergic to milk. Almost all dishes with milk or cream. - breakfast. No cakes, only some croissants, not home made. So for me, the best thing was the pool and wellness area. And this is the only reason why I would come again. Quality of the service decreased from last year sadly.

This was our first time here at this hotel. + staff at the reception, they were incredible +they spoke english very good + room was very nice and quiet +bathrobes and slippers in the room +excellent cleanliness +pool view from our room +check out until 12.00 free of charge +delicious welcome drink (wine) +delicious dinner +very nice wellness opened until 9pm - parking lot was large but google Maps sent us from behind and we were a bit lost how to find reception, we missed more signs - dinner was awesome but breakfast, we expected more from 5* hotel. We love wellness Hotels, this was not our first time in 5* hotel, and breakfast was like 3*/5*. They definitely should improve variety and quality of cakes, water for tea was cold - it was very cold weekend, and temperature in our room was very low for us - pool was closed due to bad weather :( I would say that this hotel is very nice, has excellent staff, beautiful wellness and pool area and delicious wine. I mentioned some details that should be improved but overall impression is 9/10.

A very pleasant stay at Andrássy. The rooms are spacious and the facilities around the hotel excellent - especially the spa, which is definitely the highlight. The food provided as part of board at Talu was tremendous, well deserving of its Michelin recommendation. All interactions with staff were warm and friendly, but I want to pay special mention to Lilla at the reception who was tremendously helpful throughout our stay. A few small downsides: 1. There is some visible wear and tear in our room, a few minor stains on the wall and scratched furniture. 2. Not all staff are proficient in English - especially some restaurant staff - but there is always one who is fluent around. 3. The spa closes at 8 pm, which in my mind is rather early for people who are out a busy day exploring the area. Nonetheless, I would say that none of these downsides are sufficient to detract from a well earned 5 star rating. I look forward to returning for a future holiday in Tokaj.

Wonderful place, wonderful everything! Even though the staff didn't speak English very well, they were still very nice.
