The Wilderness resort is not in the main town of Hampi but close to the temples. The cottages are cute and kept clean by the KTDC staff. It is an all-inclusive resort and has tours planned for each day. The staff, including Purshuram and Ravi, were very helpful and accommodated our requests. It is KTDC property, so do not expect a high-end property. That being said, the location is great and the staff are very helpful.

Excellent Stay !
Accedded our expectations. Spacious clean cottages . Delicious food. Excellent hospitality. Natural beautiful surroundings with where we could experience sun rise . Special thank you to Ravi our safari jeep driver who took us around, support by Devendra and Manager Muniraajji who continues to ensure that all guests are well taken care of.

Exploring Hampi
Must visit Resort if you are with family and kids. Manager Muniraju is very accommodative to all request. Cottages are very good and spacious. Trip arrangements were made extremely well keeping in mind young children and weather. Shankar our driver and guide is very good and he took care of our children as his own. Entire staff is polite and helpfull. Will visit again for sure.

Hidden gem in Hampi
We had a wonderful time at this resort. Did not know much about these Jungle Lodge Resorts and ended up booking it since most of the other popolar stays weee booked out- but happy that we ended up here. They have pretty cottages spread across a very large lush green area with scenic viewpoints. Food is good and they include breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner in their package which also includes sightseeing of Hampi, a visit to the Daroji Bear Sancutary, and a bird watching tour. Staff is courteous and very helpful. Would highly recommend this place to anyone heading to Hampi, it’s much better than the commercial resorts with the standard amenities. Few things that could be improved are cable TV and WiFi in rooms. But all in all a wonderful property and stay- truly a hidden gem.
