We really enjoyed our stay. We used the "half board" option for most of our stay (breakfast and dinner) and this was a great value for us long term travelers. Most guests were all-inclusive. Compared with our considerable experience at all-inclusive resorts we would gauge the food and service as quite high, top 10% of affordable reorts. The location in La Pineda is wonderful. The town is constructing a new waterfront walk but the beautiful beach is still easily accessible a short walk from the hotel. We normally stay in facilities without dining so this was like a vacation from our vacation - very relaxing! It was easy to purchase tickets from BusPlana to go to and from the airport in Barcelona. Use BusPlana website for that in advance. We used Uber to get to the Vila-Seca train station to get the train to Passeig de Gracia station near Famillia Sagrada in Barcelona. Both trips are about 1.5 hrs Highly recommend saving money and staying at the beach!
