my 2nd time booking a red doorz hotel and I was a bit apprehensive since the last red doorz we stayed at was a glorified motel. this was a budget inn, for tourists, mostly foreigners. so I guess that's why the room didn't have a mini ref?? we chose this because of the BIDET. the beds were comfortable, the AC was running well, hot water good, the room was clean except for the shower which needed a little brushing. the rooms weren't cleaned daily, so you'd have to request daily for a room turn-over. the staff were very nice and accommodating and when I requested extra scrubbing be done on the shower, they did it not just when I requested it but during every room cleaning. the hotel is also in the center. a few steps away from the cathedral, a couple or so blocks to the palengke where you HAVE TO go to try the hot chocolate , Suman and peanut butter combo. about 2-3 blocks from the boulevard, and all the restos. so, over all, great location, clean hotel, nice and friendly staff.

Perfect for business travelers
The hotel has 24/7 check-in, arrived in the city at 7:30AM right from the airport and I was able to be in my room almost immediately. Got to settle down and relax before heading to the day's business. Room was great, very spacious and clean, utilities all working well. And the location is great, right at the heart of Dumaguete and a stone's throw away from the boulevard. Didn't get the chance to try out the small cafe they had off the lobby but food options abound anyway, but it's nice to know it has at least something. Will definitely book again when I have more work in the area.

The room is clean and the AC is working really well. The place is walkable to great restaurants and some tourist spots. The staff are friendly and approachable.
