Hotel Zamek Berchtold

Great breakfast!

Spędziłem tam trzy dni. Zamek bardziej przypomina pałac. Ładnie odrestaurowany. Pokój ciepły i czysty. Niestety pokój bez klimatu słabo urządzony, łóżka jakości mebli IKEA. Śniadanie skromne ale smaczne , można coś dla siebie wybrać. Personel uprzejmy i pomocny.

We arrived at the hotel late at night and there was no one at the reception. Instead, key cards were left with a note for guests to enter their rooms by themselves. Unfortunately, the key card did not work for the room number written on the paper. We tried several rooms, and by pure coincidence one of the doors opened. We entered that room only to realize later that it was not even the room assigned to us. Luckily, it was empty — otherwise this could have been a very serious issue. Inside the room, the air conditioning does not work and there is no remote control. The room itself is very small and narrow, offering minimal comfort. In the bathroom, the ventilation system turns on automatically and never turns off, which is extremely disturbing, especially at night. The location of the hotel is also very poor. There is nothing around — no restaurants, shops, or services nearby, making it very inconvenient. Overall, this stay felt unsafe, uncomfortable, and poorly managed. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for late arrivals or travelers expecting basic standards of comfort and security.
