Langit Rimba Resort

Our first time discovering Pantai, N9 and it was peaceful, serene and a perfect escape from city life just 90mins drive away. Our cabin had a wonderful east view of the surrounding trees downhill. The room was comfortable and the open kitchen spacious with full facilities. Although you will encounter bugs, the evenings and mornings were misty and cooling. Food was not provided and the mobile line here not fantastic but sufficient to order Grab (but do be aware that the delivery location may sometimes be out of their delivery coverage). Usually we just drove down for food or for tahpao. Although it appears some room upgrading/refurbishment was ongoing, we had to deduct some stars for the washroom insufficient water pressure for showering or flushing. Surprisingly the kitchen pressure was great. Overall, the staff did great and the trip here was wonderful and we hope to be back again soon.

We spent 3 days 2 nights in Langit Rimba and we took The Hornbill Room, which consist the whole upper floor. Where the lower floor consist another 2 rooms called, Kesidang and Sunrise. When we arrived, we were very satisfied with the place, facilities and the cleanliness. The place is very beautiful and the view is outstanding. We are very happy that we could listen to the sound of nature. My only comment is the reception should explain clearer to the guest of which area is public area (common area). We had guests from lower floor who went into our floor and thought our living room is the reception. This place is open concept and we understand on the confusion. Not a big issue, just maybe next time the reception need to explain clearer. However, we had unpleasant experience on the 2nd night, when the new guest down stairs did not adhere to quiet time by 1030pm. We suspected they had birthday party and did "tik tok dancing" and even singing aloud at 12pm. They even have PA system. And the next morning, they even wake up each other by banging the pots and pans. We did complaint to management at 1030pm and 12am. But unfortunately they only quite down for a while and start making noise again. They were talking and laughing loudly until 230am. Of course we understood that this is not the management fault. But as a suggestion, maybe management can strictly remind their guest in the future. Most people choose to spend thousand ringgit at this place for the nature and peacefulness. We do not want to listen to disco music and loud PA system.

I will definitely return to this property as the place is well kept and clean. The place is artistically decorated , cleverly using recycle material. I especially love the dining area except the villa we booked is of a privacy issue with passerby dropped by thinking is a common area. The staff has used out dining area to prepare breakfast for others which we felt intruded as was not warned upon checking in. It was no big deal but appreciate signage for guests expectorations would be very much appreciated.

To our surprise, they provided us with a spacious place to stay, surrounded by lush greenery, which allowed us to rest well while enjoying the soothing sound of birds chirping. The accommodation was also very clean and neat, equipped with all sorts of cutlery and cooking utensils. However, the swing was broken and hadn’t been fixed, making it uncomfortable to sit on. Another downside was that if someone stayed in the room above, the sound of footsteps could be heard all day. There was no air-conditioning, so the afternoons could get quite hot due to the lack of wind. We had to rely on the three fans to ensure ventilation and cool down the surrounding temperature. The swimming pool was clean and suited for two people, but if more guests used it, it could become congested. Thanks in accommodating us and we wish to stay again in the future.

The place is clean for what it is and where it is, all the facilities you could ask for. Pool is down the road ( not really walking distance). I'm not sure how safe it is from landslides and would not ever revisit. There are too many massive buildings surrounding it and behind it on a slope with more ongoing construction.
