Litchfield Tropical Stay

Comfortable huge bed. Large bathroom with nice smelling toiletries. Close to Litchfield NP. Welcome cheese ,dip and biscuits platter. Lorna explained everything to go to in the are. The path to get to the cabin consisted of stones and the road out was not sealed for over 1 km,

The accomodation is managed by the property owners Lorna and Lee. They live on the property about 150m away from the cabins. Lorna and Lee have obviously put a lot of effort into the set up of the cabins, pool and garden surrounding the cabins. It looked amazing and was very peaceful. The private pool was very refreshing in the Darwin heat. They also have a few animals that you can go say hello to, cows, dogs, and a cute baby donkey further down the property near where Lorna and Lee live. If you don't appreciate animals than you won't even notice they are there. The cabins were also very clean and well maintained. We highly recommend this place and hope we can come back again. Photos don’t do this place justice, it’s private with a beautiful garden and plants surrounding the room and pool area, the rooms and beds are very comfortable modern and clean, you have all the utensils to use the facilities even down to spray oil for the bbq, pots and pans. You have wifi access, and tv with free to air applications and Netflix. The spa is beautiful and the fire pit is lovely at night, you see all the animals, close to local swimming holes and look outs, it’s really a beautiful comfortable place to experience the territory, I will definitely be coming back!! The owners are also really lovely, no flaws about this place!

Stayed in the caravan and it was beautifully set up for a nice tranquil stay. Loved the outdoor area and Lorna is a great host. Would definitely stay again.

Our only regret was not staying longer. Lorna is amazing, so kind and thoughtful. The location is brilliant for exploring the Litchfield Park region, and there's ample to see to spend three days in the area. The accommodation was like a retreat in the bush, so quiet and peaceful. We will definitely return.
