First off, the location is quite a walk from the beach. Second, although the room we got had a bath tub, we weren't able to use it as it's visibly dirty and every time I use the shower to hopefully clean it and the walls around, it keeps shedding off dirt and grime. The room has a musty smell, but the pillows and linens were the saving grace, smell clean. The linens and the staff were, for me, the best part of this hotel. The only reason to choose this hotel. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful (most specifically, Genova from the restaurant, and Rose from the front desk). If you value the beachside location and convenience, this is not it. But if you're after a pleasant ambiance, polite staff, and surely clean bed, and you don't mind walking a bit, you might want to consider this.

Exceptional staff, clean and good smelling linens

Hotel is very costly compared to its amenities and services.
To pay a diacounted rate of more than 7k is not really a discounted rate at all. Let me share the good things and the things this hotel can improve on. Good po location and they have friendly staff. The room is ok but not good enough to pay a 7k or 8k amount.We paid 7k plus rate from Agoda and even booked additional room onsite @ P8860. Since the rate is quite pricey,I was expecting an upgraded or better breakfast. But breakfast is bland and has cery few choices. I hope they can improve at least the breakfast or lower down their rate accordingly.I think appropriate rate for thishote with breakfast should be at most 3500 to 4000 based on location,room accommodation and food.This is too far from Edsa Shang or Manila Hotel who charges

Good hotel but limited food options
Rooms are big, good and tidy. The bathroom is also nice and big. The staff is courteous and polite. The only thing which brought down the rating is the food. The breakfast options are very limited (not even enough). For lunch, they did not have anything in asked, even sea food which is abundant here... Housekeeping - they did not clean the room until specifically asked, the water in the room was not replenished until requested, the toiletries were not replenished either. Need to request even for the most basic things
