Hotel La Praia

The property offers exceptional cleanliness and friendly staff that make the stay comfortable. The bathroom and beach access are well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Though the location is good, it could be more central. Facilities are solid but leave a little room for improvement. Overall, great value for money with a relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views.

I recently stayed at La Praia, and I can say without hesitation that I would choose this hotel again in a heartbeat. First and foremost, the value for money here is amazing. For a very reasonable price, you get a modern, clean, and comfortable room set against lovely green surroundings (I had room #308). The location is excellent—it is situated very close to the sea, train station, and the stunning town of Tropea, making exploring the area incredibly convenient. Furthermore, the nearby beach and sea are absolutely beautiful, perfect for relaxing days under the sun. What really sets this place apart, though, is its authentic Italian atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive. A special mention must go to the owner: while he has a very straightforward and authentic personality, it is clear that he genuinely cares about the hotel and his guests. He works tirelessly to constantly improve the property, and his dedication is what makes La Praia so special. It’s exactly the kind of genuine hospitality that makes people want to come back again and again. If you are looking for an authentic, high-value, and welcoming stay near Tropea, look no further!

It was very nice and clean. Mrs. Nikki was very kind and helpfully.

We are European pensioners and paid for a reserved apartment for 13 nights. We were one day late for reasons beyond our control. We were told we would be arriving at the pre-booked time, but not for the entire stay, but for four nights. They didn't ask for a refund, but they didn't let us in at all. Agoda didn't help us with our communication with the hotel. The manager is extremely aggressive; I wouldn't recommend anyone to deal with them. They are unprofessional, rude, and aggressive.

Very good value for money. The room looks new and was very comfortable. We have a sea view from there and it was possible to park a car in front of the room. The staff was very helpful.
