Very private place. Suitable if plan vacation with family. Staff very nice and very helpful. Cleanines good.

My family of four stayed at Rocky Farm, Ipoh for two nights and overall, we were very happy with the experience. The Japanese-inspired design of the accommodation offers a unique and refreshing stay that is quite different from typical hotels or resorts. One of the highlights is the serene natural setting at the foot of a hill. We especially enjoyed spending time outdoors, observing the surrounding flora and fauna and appreciating the peaceful atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. There are a few areas that could be improved. The lake appears somewhat abandoned and could benefit from better upkeep. Mosquitoes can also be an issue, especially when walking around the property, although the staff thoughtfully place mosquito repellent in the evenings. For our room category, the water dispenser and pantry were located outside the unit, which may be slightly inconvenient for some guests. There are fewer than eight units on the property, so early booking is recommended. At slightly over RM400 per night, the price felt a little high, though it was likely due to the public holiday period. Overall, Rocky Farm offers a rare and enjoyable experience for those seeking something a little different.

My kids enjoyed the japanese concept room. We got the Kyoto room which has a small koi pond in front and extended to side of the house/room. It's a room with a view! Expect mozzies but there's mozzie coil that you can lit in the evening to out ousude the room. No problem sleeping in tatami style flooring with mattress. It's was comfy. Strong water shower, quiet surrounding and not too far by car to Seri Botani for food, coffee, etc. Definitely a lot of effort and thoughts into the design of each themed houses. Overall, good experience!

Stayed at the Japanese themed room with a nice smallish Japanese garden in front with a small pond beside a rocky mountain literally. Overall the room is clean with good functioning hot shower. Only downside is the water dispenser is shared with others and located outside of the room, no mini fridge , no wifi and packed with lots of mosquitoes outside (room itself is well protected with anti mosquito nets if the door is closed properly). Their workers are also diligent enough to put up the mosquito coil in the evening in front of the rooms for you too nevertheless. Another mini good surprise is the room comes with a few set of kimono lookalike for free-to-wear for some pic moments. Host/boss is friendly too.

Location is nearby simpang pulai exit and secure. Location is beautiful and we stayed in London room that's supposed to be a castle concept, well maintained and clean. Only towels and soaps provided all other things bring on your own. Would stay again if I need to be in simpang pulai. Place also has other concept houses like Japanese, mermaid etc
