Some of the towels smelled like SEWAGE, and others were sticky, not rinsed well by a properly working washing machine. NO apology from the owner, of course. Washers are not working well... I wish there was a shower curtain or a shower booth. The shower panels were about to fall off. Mold and dirty floor sheets in the bathroom. After the free cancellation period or upon check-in, the owner directs you NOT TO LEAVE ANY LIGHTS ON OR AC RUNNING when you exit your room during your stay - a very strictly enforced rule. So, you will be out in complete darkness if you have an early-morning flight. The kitchen is tiny and super-hot like a steam pot in June, no AC. NO OPEN KITCHEN. [Staying enclosed in this tiny kitchen door while heating up in a hot summer] is common sense for the owner, and this is also a very strict rule here. It is difficult to get a taxi from this house, and you need to walk for a while to get a taxi or bus to a train station. It is expensive to get a taxi to attractions from there, more expensive and complicated than from the airport. For a late-night flight arrival, taxis will charge the same fare as the one from the airport to Milano Centrale. The owner told me that he received complaints from other guests and had to close his house because of the smell of my cooking (a bowl of fried rice with all local groceries for a takeaway lunch), but there were no other guests and rooms were available for booking throughout the period he complained about. When I asked the owner to connect me with the complaining guests for a direct apology, he refused and failed to provide any records of other guests' complaints or bookings, or of his house's closure on Agoda, ***, ***, or any other booking platform. The owner also added that he had never had a problem with other guests and had received only good reviews - please find another review reporting his racism against Arabs and his text messages that I attached here.

Quite place, walking distance to train station and shops.Very clean room and bathroom.Most of all very friendly and helpful host.
