Will stay here again

I booked this hotel supposedly the highlight among my stays around PH (Siargao & Coron) but turns out ambivalent. I actually liked its hardware & construction. I would say they seemed welcoming with smile however overall the service was mediocre in my experience. The food from breakfast tasted ok but the service was not. When I showed up, the female F&B attendant was busy doing her paper job(maybe checking room numbers or something) at the back of the bar. She was not friendly nor attentive without giving me any welcome vibe or explanation how breakfast is gonna be. I was standing around there for a while then finally she noticed me. I asked her 'Caffe latte', she answered that is extra charge so I just asked her for a complimentary brewed coffee which is included in the breakfast package. Eventually it was not her to serve me the brewed coffee, but the other female server who was one of 2 brilliant servers(female & male) from their new Taqueria, Cinco Grande. Since I had dinner the day before at Taqueria, she recognized me and asked if I need coffee so that was the time I got my brewed coffee. Whilst having my breakfast, as an Asian, I noticed the first girl who did not serve me the coffee was peculiarly nice to other Westerner guests. Specially I saw she served A-la-cart pancake & freshly cut mango(there was no mango at buffet station) to other guests. I was wondering if that's inclusive of breakfast when there's special request. Moreover, the day before checking out, I asked 2 receptionist if it is possible to have a late check out then they just informed me to wait until next day and they would get back to me. However upon checking out none of them was aware of my request, meaning nobody had been following up. Was not that good impression and was sadly disappointing considering my expectation, even finally they got me a room to stay for a while after check out though.

Highlights: • The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable! • Strong, amazing shower pressure! • Friendly staff and excellent service. • Loved all the giveaways! • Cozy room, perfect for staying in during a rainy week. Suggestions for Improvement: • Provide clips for the curtains to ensure they fully close. • Offer tutorials on how to operate the sliding door entrance. • Add a welcome mat inside the sliding door to dry shoes during rainy weather. • Include a lounge chair for relaxation, in addition to the bed. • Provide more hooks or hanging areas. • Consider offering a foldable luggage rack for convenience.

The room was neat and smells good. Love that they have treats everyday which I look forward to. Great food choices as well. Had some fun time at the roof deck with a marvelous view especially with cool drinks. The staff are very hospitable and approachable. Thank you for the fantastic service we surely enjoy our time with you!

For some reason it was 200 a night when I booked which was a bit pricy but worth it and good value compared to back home. The staff failed to let us know there’s a rooftop to watch the sunset so when we got there the sun already set and it was packed with guests. We ended up going there the next day and had some pizza. We then decided to go swim in the pool however there was a buffet that we didn’t know about but the entire resort was there again. They also stopped responding to WhatsApp after I checked in. So it caused us to not have time to goto the hot springs. Other than that the place is very clean, staff are nice and helpful, nice pools and minibar.
