사이공 - 반지옥 리조트

Stayed 2 nights, and it is walking distance to both the waterfall and pagoda. Room was clean, functional and had a great view. Beds were really hard and the flower shower sprayed everywhere but on you. Breakfast, ok but the second day was menu only and we didn’t get what we ordered. Evening meals were ok, quite oily so we had steamed items only on the 2nd night. There are not really any other options so take some snacks. The restaurant is a bit soulless and the tables are huge. Prices are similar to most other places and the menu gives enough choice including vegetarian food. Hotel has many steps to get to the rooms which are set away from the reception and restaurant and very slippy so no good for anyone with mobility issues. Top floor where we were had about seven outdoor staircases from reception but they did offer to help with our bags. Staff were polite. This is an old hotel, similar to an English holiday camp from the 80s, it’s ok for a night and its location is fantastic for the falls. The local bus from Cao Bang town drops you just past the hotel entrance and returns from the same point.

First off, the front desk, and dining staff were excellent and professional. But I must talk about one of the cleaning crew. On Sept. 8th, around 14:30 my wife noticed one of the minibar waters was partially consumed when we got there. I didn’t want to be charged for something we didn’t drink, so I took it to the front desk and very politely showed them. Not a big deal. Again, I just didn’t want to be charged. I went back to the room. About 5 minutes later, there was a knock at our door. I opened the door. A woman holding a water bottle pushed her way past me, and came into our room. She said something in Vietnamese loudly as she looked around the room. Then she opened the mini fridge door. (We brought sodas and beer with us and put it in the fridge) she condescendingly laughed and pointed at them. Then she stood up and looked at the candy and snacks we had on the shelves, and rudely laughed again and said something loudly again. She looked around the room again and then left. I was shocked. I didn’t know what to say. My wife was on the balcony watching. I’m not exaggerating any of this. We have traveled for 25 years. All round the world. I have never been treated so rudely by hotel staff in my life. She was so rude, and acting so weird that we didn’t have them clean the room for the 3 nights we were there. My wife didn’t feel comfortable having them in the room when we weren’t there. It crazy how one person can ruin your impression of a hotel experience. Again the rest of the staff were completely professional and courteous. It was just the actions of one very unprofessional and extremely rude individual. I also want to note, the room was very nice. Freshly painted. Nice towels and bedding. The restaurant food and staff were excellent.

Perfect place for my family with an elder person who needed comfort & quietness during the night. Rooms on the 4th floor were a bit challenging to climb though. Everything was very clean which we appreciated a lot. Breakfast wasn't the best though.

Clean facilities, friendly staff & great location that is walking distance to waterfalls. Food in restaurant is not exceptional but quite acceptable.

I’m so glad I decided to stay here. My room was very nice, with a wonderful view of the waterfalls, very clean, and good amenities. The air con is also a heater which at this time of year is important. The breakfast buffet was impressive. I would highly recommend staying a night here to take advantage of the waterfalls (walking distance), and the other attractions in the area.
