Pros: staff were nice and bed was comfortable Cons: I ate lunch and two breakfasts there— food’s taste was poor to mediocre except for the waffle apart from one food item- waffle was good. Walls are not insulated so I could here the people in the room next to mine just talking— and as much as I like flute— it was resounding through the hotel when I came back from a full day of work and only had 30 mins to rest— again, no noise insulation. Didn’t turn many of the chandeliered lights on at night - made it feel like they were half open. Upon checking out, the receptionist tried to charge me more than what I actually used ie I only had one lunch at extra charge the whole time— but tried to charge me for more. She didn’t make me pay the additional but just a bit alarming. Also- no toiletries in bathroom besides soap and a scrub thing. Didn’t feel 5 star in the slightest. Hammam wasn’t warm the way it should be, spa area didn’t have any soap in the shower, indoor pool was quite small and a bit cold, steam room probably functioned the best but they need to renovate a bit as there were some tiles missing. While in the spa, one male staff was nice but quite aggressive in trying to schedule me for a massage when I clearly told him I wasn’t interested. I just wanted to chill and clear my head not be sold on something I didn’t want. Need to back off— there’s a difference in letting guests know and trying to sell hard- don’t appreciate the latter. I was also expecting that there would be a deck at the beach area like how it shows in the pictures; however, they had taken it down which was disappointing. There are so many choices of hotels in the area and I’m going to check out someplace else next time. Wasn’t impressed for what I thought I was getting. Again the staff were lovely and the bed was comfortable, but that’s not enough to outweigh all the other items I listed.
