Wild Atlantic Stay Guest House Self-Catering

Hosts happy to not have any physical contact with guests; which is odd for a small guesthouse. Covid risks? But good communication via booking site messages prior to the arrival. Pleasing that the stay does have signage as to its current name. The lat + long is always the best way to find these places = the laneway access point just off the main road is 53.24620 N and -9.36669 W The BnB type, downstairs, ensuite room #1 stay was as advertised / reviewed by others. The shower is strange with a very odd single controller for both the water temp and the too much water pressure. So it is not surprising that with a too short shower curtain; that the bathroom floor gets so wet. Thin towels. My wife noted the lack of hot water on the 3rd night of our stay ie 6th May in the early evening. Clean and mostly comfortable. The king sized bed was appreciated. The shared access, kitchenette space with a fridge / freezer and lounge with 3 small dining tables works fine. The mini oven supplied is capable of heating up a ready bought meal. The local Tesco has a big range. Continental type food items for breakfast are supplied each morning. Guests appear to have no control of the central heating (underfloor?) which we found too warm. Finding evening dining out options was problematic as many in the immediate area seemed shut? Heading 5+ km back towards Galway then gave some more options.
