지야길 코나기

A very cosy hotel run by a family. In the old part of Amasya. Very good customer service, responsive and kind staff and clean rooms.

Upon arrival, I was greeted with a cold tea (on a hot day). They were able to do my laundry for me and help with all sorts of questions I had about Amasya. The location is excellent, and their breakfast is fantastic and authentically Turkish. I would highly recommend this hotel, and emphasis on their hospitality!

Pros: Great View & Location: The view from the room was wonderful, and the location couldn't be better. Excellent Service: Staff were very kind and helpful. Value for Money: The breakfast was tasty, and the price was reasonable. Cons: Zero Soundproofing: I have never stayed in a building with such poor sound insulation. The walls are paper-thin. I could hear everything from the room above—not just footsteps, but the bed creaking and even the intimate sounds of a couple, followed clearly by their shower noise. There is zero privacy. Maintenance Issue (Water Leak): There was water leaking from the ceiling at the ground floor entrance. I got wet just trying to get into the building. Conflicting Info: The check-out times on Agoda, ***, and the hotel's own info are all different. This needs to be unified.

The hotel has a very atmospheric atmosphere. The rooms are large and cozy, with a set of towels, hot water, and large beds. The breakfast is delicious and filling. The staff is absolutely perfect, very kind, and helped us get there by car.
