The mud huts we stayed was well insulated , so we didn’t face much winter issue( Dec 2025) . We didn’t had food/meals here as we were mostly eating outside around the Rann Utsav area. Location is bit far from Rann so if you have your own vehicle, then no issue. Breakfast was good one day( puri bhaji, poha and lots of papaya) but second day, it was bit ordinary and didn’t serve fruits. When asked about fruits, they said they couldn’t find in the market. If you don’t want to spend exorbitantly, then this stay will be good for you. We spent around 8.5 k for 2 days and had our car for commute.

Decent Economical stay

I really advised all of you don't stay any where in kutchh area for runn of kutchh or kutchh mahotsav because is it totally waste of money nothing is there because it is very dynamic for tent city totally money waste

beautiful place but zero service and pathetic food
the huts are beautiful. but may be as the kutch utsav was at its end the staff was not in a mood to cater customers. almost no service and most important dont experiment with the food. eat outside

Exceptional
We stayed for 1N and we were a family of 2 Adult and 1 Child aged 10+, so there was a king sized bed as in the picture and an additional bed in the room itself. It's a simple village-style hut, so if you want that experience in terms of stay and food, the stay was perfect. There was local music at dinner time. They provided with tea/snacks in the evening apart from Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. It's best to have meals from here as there is no restaurants near by and few homestays only. What could have been better was if there was an additional fan provided in the room and if the mattress were soft, seemed hard for me. Overall it was a good stay.
