The hotel, is very secluded. It takes a skilled driver to transverse the bumpy run down road to the hotel. The toilet in the room is very tiny (~1.5mx2m) and the glass becomes transparent when you shower. Shared bathroom is okay but remember to bring slippers. If you're afraid of big bugs, then this hotel (and other place in Kundasang) is definitely not for you. Also, it's quite far away from Kundasang and Ranau so if you're there for a trip in Kundasang, stay somewhere closer to town/main road. However, it's a great place for insect and bird spotting. The temperature drops below 20C at night but the shower have hot water for you to fight the cold. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They also prepare you meals if you requested.

The spacious room provided a comfortable sleep. Overall amenities were satisfactory, just. few areas that could use improvement like cleanliness and entertainment maybe it’s because the construction going on in this place. Staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The location perfect surrounded by nature and easy access to local sights.

We were unable to find other accomodations as it was a last minute booking for that time. This lodge appeared to have more rooms to choose from. We decided to stay there for 1 night and it was during school holiday. We booked 3 rooms each with private bathrooms. The bathrooms are very small. The rooms space and interior was just nice and comfy but the problem is we can hear sounds and noises coming from outside and beside our rooms even people snoring, walking, talking, etc. can be heard. The wall is not properly constructed, probably no insulation installed and it feels like a hollow space inside the drywall when knocked. So far i think the problem is their wall. Others are still considerably okay and acceptable.
