Despite a previous incident that cost me an additional 100 THB, I chose to return because the hotel is convenient and familiar to me. However, during this stay, I was charged an additional 300 THB on top of the room rate. More concerning was the way the matter was handled. An unidentified person confronted me in a public area and made several accusations about how I had used the room, in front of other people. They did not introduce themselves or explain their position or authority. Hotel staff were present but did not intervene, clarify who the person was, or move the conversation to a private area. Regardless of whether there was a legitimate concern about the room, I should have been approached professionally, respectfully, and privately. The additional charge was one issue. Being publicly embarrassed and spoken to in this manner was another. I am requesting that the hotel identify the person involved, explain their authority to question guests, preserve the CCTV footage, and review how this incident was handled.

I have stayed at this hotel several times and usually enjoy it, but this visit felt noticeably different. The service seemed less warm, and the staff appeared to be simply completing their duties without proper communication. At checkout, my deposit was initially returned and I was told that everything was fine. A moment later, a staff member approached me carrying a stained towel from my room without greeting me, asking what had happened, or clearly explaining the issue. I had to explain that Ovaltine had accidentally spilled on it, and I was then charged 100 THB. I accept responsibility for the accidental stain, but I was disappointed by how the situation was handled. It was an ordinary hotel towel that had clearly been used and washed many times before, not a new item, and an Ovaltine stain may have been washable. The staff did not explain whether they had attempted to clean it or why the charge was necessary. The amount itself was not the main issue. What disappointed me was the lack of polite communication and consideration, especially as a returning guest who had always enjoyed staying here. A simple explanation and respectful conversation would have made the situation feel completely different.

This was actually my first time coming back to my hometown in almost two years. Since I have a big family, I was looking for a quiet place where I could have some time for myself, clear my mind, and get some work done. I honestly didn’t expect much, but Red Heritage Hotel was exactly what I needed. The hotel is modern, very clean, quiet, and right in the city center, which made everything so convenient. The breakfast was also really good, especially for the price. I was genuinely surprised by how much value I got. What impressed me the most was the staff. I’ve stayed here three times now, and they even remembered my name. That small gesture made me feel so welcome. During one of my stays, I accidentally broke a chair (completely my fault), but they were so kind and understanding and didn’t charge me for it. That level of hospitality is something you don’t find very often. If you’re looking for a clean, modern, peaceful place to stay with genuinely lovely people, I highly recommend this hotel. For me, it became more than just a place to sleep—it became a place where I could slow down, recharge, and enjoy being back home. Thank you to everyone at Red Heritage Hotel.
