Hotel Reemz Chiplun

Staff was excellent. Restaurant excellent. Location is good. The downside is the maintenance of the chalet. The chalets are not well maintained, the walls are dirty, the shower water stays hot for a few seconds then turns cold, the tiles in the room are cracked etc. I had cockroaches in my room. The positive side if the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food is very nice. We stayed in chalets so maybe the hotel rooms inside the hotel are nicer than the chalets.

Location for people travelling by road to Mumbai or Goa is excellent. Staff is very supportive. Since we visited hotel just after rainy season rooms were very dampened and walls were damped which gave us not good feeling. However rooms were chnaged immediately. I think once rainy season is over hotel management will handle this issue. Overall experience was good. Rooms are specious. Only missing is lift and was difficult to climb second floor

Good place for a break journey. Due to the current Gulf War food is limited and not buffet. Staff is accomodating and always wishing to help. Some rooms that was shown to me need painting and need to be aired of musty smells. Missed the mutton kheema for breakfast.

A few small matters need to be brushed up. No kettle in the room, although mugs and tea bags etc were in the room. List of available TV channels was kept in the room, but none worked. We had to specifically request for Star Plus. Of course it took time, but that was resolved. Breakfast was not as expected. A disappointment.

We had a pleasant stay. Location is well connected to the highway as well as to the chiplun railway station. The staff is well behaved especially I would like to mention Munaf sir and Vishranti mam who were always there to help us.
