Pros - beachfront location - polite staff - decent rooms - complementary water activities - clean swimming pools - complimentary ground coffee. There’s a French press in the room. Cons - they claim that they are pet-friendly but fails to take care of their own stray cats. Staffs mentioned not feeding them despite their presence in the area, which is ironic. They are pet-friendly to those who can pay. - there are cages and 1 is occupied by a meerkat looking animal, who obviously eager yo go out. - shoreline is not swimmable. One have to go a bit far to enjoy the beach - rough road near the place - no exhaust in the cr, no complimentary tea Neutral - food is okay. Their in-house restau is Bugas Isla. Selection is okay, a little pricey. No seafood options despite the coastal community nearby. The Italian restau is undergoing renovation If one wishes a quick beach break, this is a good place. But will not book again, instead I’ll find some other beachfront resorts in Laiya.

Had a wonderful family vacation at Cala Laiya. The place is very peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for families with kids. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was really good, and the overall atmosphere was calm and serene. A great place to unwind, enjoy quality family time, and simply relax away from the busy city life. Highly recommended for a quiet and kid-friendly getaway!

We had a wonderful trip at Cala Laiya and were very happy with the rooms! The staff were also very friendly and accommodating and the food at the hotel restaurant was quite good. We were also happy to see so many complimentary beach activities offered by the hotel (free use of kayaks, free archery, free badminton, etc.)!

Enjoyed our stay and I love how the resort blends well with nature. However, the food could use some improvement as the price does not quite match the taste. The pet fee also seems exorbitant (1,500/dog per day) compared to other resorts in Laiya. We were only given a small bag of treats per dog for the 2-night stay. Couldnt help but compare to the other resorts where we got some other pet stuff like a nice little plastic bags for pet p**p, simple leash and etc.

I liked the most is that the no of villas is just right. The spacing between the villas are ok. Its good that the management are not greedy in making more villas that is why it is not crowded. Loved the pools and my kid enjoyed it the most. The beachfront and beachbed is not ok because its muddy like instead of grainy like but they offer balsa raft for snorkeling amd many water activities so you can still enjoy the water.
