If your base is garmisch and ok to give up luxury, I doubt any place can come closer. It has everything that you would need, but since it's a hostel, it off course would not have luxury. Skip that, location staff cleanliness everything is 5 star

Room and toilet space is big but it's basically empty with not enough table tops to put stuff, only 2 hangers are provided, no kettle, no hairdryer, no slippers, only 2 bath towels are provided. Front desk staff abit unfriendly. Only plus point is it's near the station. Find that it's quite expensive as need to pay membership fees on top of city taxes. On the day of check-out, you need to remove the bedsheets, pillow cases, blankets and towels and throw them in a big trolley near the lift.

Best hostel I ever been.

The hostel is located just a few meters from the bus stop, so it’s very convenient. However, if you’re staying in the shared dormitory for just one night, you’ll be assigned an upper bunk, which can be a bit challenging. Overall, the staff were nice, friendly, and helpful. One tip I’d like to share is about the laundry service. They provide both a washer and a dryer, but it might be better to use the machines during the daytime. At night, there’s only one staff member on duty, so you may need to wait for assistance if any issues arise. In my case, I had trouble using the machine and ended up needing help twice during the night. The support I received was limited, likely due to the reduced staffing and the attention to the issue.

The place is everything you need for a good nights rest after a full day out - clean, comfy and super convenient location next to the main train station where the buses also stop. There’s even a sauna to relax after a cold day out . Breakfast is very filling. It says membership required but you can pay daily fee if you’re not a member . Plus local tax.
