Poachers Pocket Seaview

The room was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. It’s definitely a budget room but I knew that going in! The show had exceptional water pressure and the bottles of water in the fridge were a nice touch. The staff in the pub were really friendly.

MEDIOCRE......We booked a KING SIZE BEDROOM. Double bed instead. Tiny room, tiny weeny weeny bathroom. The furniture was very dated. In fact it was that old that the draw broke when I opened it. There were water or drink stains inside the drawers. The wardrobe was like em, 4ft tall. You ain't gonna get your dresses in there Girl, ugh ugh. The fridge.....OMG it was yellow and there was a home made piece of board over it to balance the microwave on. If i was on the TV programme "4 in a bed" I would only pay *** for the night. But to sum up and to be fair it was right on the beach and this is what one pays for.

Yards away from an exceptional beach. Tight for space but if it's a place to lay your head at the right price is what's wanted - this fits the bill.

I would not stay at this place if they paid me.

Good value for money per sa I guess seasonal prices per night. Could be lower during off peak season. Dog friendly but guess need to be reminded that dogs are only allowed during specific times between seasons and dog fouling restrictions to be adhered to!! Restaurant food good service very good Cleanliness good in chalet grouting around shower and flooring in bathroom could be replaced WiFi good tv in the chalet too high up on the wall quality tv and viewing not great Hot water heating and extra blanket if needed very good. Overall comes well recommended for a long weekend. Thumbs up to everyone that makes Poacher Picket work!!
