Very pleasant first impression Elegant, impressive, sparkling clean Receptionists were smiling and helpful Cleaning at an excellent level Pool super clean Snacks by the pool at reasonable prices Plenty of sunbeds by the pool, maybe thanks to the season (October) The location is completely useless, you only have to take a bus or car to get to shops, restaurants and beaches The bus stop right in front of the hotel is fine for this, the bus to Faliraki and the other way to Rhodes goes every 20 minutes, but when it is full, it doesn't even stop, so you wait for an hour Breakfast sufficient in terms of quantity and choice, until the end, but in such a hotel I expected higher quality The coffee is simply disgusting The two most serious flaws of the hotel: it has no beach (only a few sunbeds on the gravel by the tiny port) The restaurant has very poor management, lazy staff and many details that are dishonorable and unacceptable in a 4* hotel: since opening no tea spoons and saucers available, the place quickly fills up with guests who have nowhere to sit because the staff is slow and chaotic. What helps you if the waitresses (especially the short-haired blonde with a thick layer of makeup) shouts kalimeeera when there are dozens of uncleaned tables and you have to wait awkwardly for the staff to wake up and start working for a while. Otherwise, they are fine and talk to each other calmly and without stress. In addition, the tables in the most beautiful places are reserved for an hour or two, set for the chosen ones, the only ones having those saucers and tea spoons. And when there are a lot of people waiting, the waiters are able to clear away your food if you left the table for a while and went to get a coffee, for example. Leaky tablecloths? Please wake up, you are lowering the standard of the entire hotel! I extended my stay by two more nights, but I did so before I had breakfast for the first time. Unfortunately :(

This place has potential but they cut off access to the nice part of the beach for a sister property, the food was mediocre, and you have to pay for wifi, but the worst thing was that they want to cater to young adults whose screams could be heard in our room (213) until 2am.

We had a wonderful stay at Kresten! The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly lovely and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our swim-up room with a sea view was absolutely beautiful—especially at sunrise, which was truly unforgettable. The whole atmosphere was very relaxing, with breathtaking views all around. We especially loved the short walk down to the seashore—it was peaceful and scenic. The outdoor pool is also large and well-maintained, perfect for unwinding. The rooms were also cleaned very well throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway! Shame the weather has changed but definitely a must stay hotel in summer!

This holiday was a family holiday for 4 adults and a child under 2 . The hotel rooms were lovely ,with good working air-conditioning. We had 2 garden rooms . The bathroom shower could do with an update but we always had plenty of hot water. The entertainment team work so hard and ,we would say that this is best entertainment, l had at a hotel . Although the kids club is only for up to 4 years old although children under 4 years old enjoyed the mini disco each evening. The pools a wonderful splash look for children in its own area. The adults pool is suitable for children who can swim as well as non swimmers as the pool has a shallow end one side. There is a beach area at the hotel with sun beds. I highly recommend a swim in the sea it was clean and clear and so warm ,unlike the adults pool. There are 2 restaurants in the beach area which are local run. We were on a bed and breakfast rate,but for 20 euros per you could book a evening meal . So we did use the restaurant some evenings . Cocktail bar is a lovely setting and you can get pizza and toasties of an evening . The cocktails are average but the drinks prices are good for a hotel . The wine was ok , the beer selection was also good . The restaurant its your normal hotel food ,although they do have themed nights Asian,Italian and Greek. The breakfast is your normal hot food selection ,would have been nice to have fresh poached eggs instead of poached eggs in a tray . The section for breakfast and evening was very good ,l could always fine some think l liked to eat. The food is very similar to a all inclusive buffet .The hotel is rated as 4 stars and some parts are 4 stars ,while l say the bathrooms are more like 3 stars . You can upgrade to a better room ,which is a plus point . These room are more of a 4star standard. Location there are a few taverns in the area but it is a 20 minute walk. We did however go to Rhodes town twice and Faliraki twice .As my husband and l like to see a bit of island . The hotel can arrange car hirer and trips out with a tour company. My daughter used the massage service but she didnt expect the couples massage to be in two separate rooms ,her husband massage was relaxing ,but my daughter didnt enjoy listening to massage therapist music as she could still here her iPod rave music instead of relaxing music being played , and some times she was just using 1 hand . Am trained in Swedish massage so l dont know what kind of 1 hand massage there is ,my daughter didnt want to make a fuss as it was our last day . I would give the hotel 85% out of 100. This could be a wonderful hotel if the bathrooms,food and cocktails but then again if you want luxury then book the sister 5 star hotel next door.

Overall, we had a good experience at this hotel and I would recommend it. We booked a package with breakfast only. The breakfast was varied and delicious — we really liked it. However, for the first time in my life, I experienced something strange: if you want to take two plates and cutlery to your room, they start questioning you! They have cardboard boxes for takeaway, but they don't give them to you — apparently they’re “out of stock”! Funny experience! The rooms were clean, and all the equipment in the room worked properly. The location is also convenient. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, and it takes about 15 minutes to get to the city center. The main downside, in my opinion, is the beach. The access path is poorly designed, especially if you have a small child — it’s quite difficult to get there. The sunbeds on the beach are dirty and broken, so there’s no real joy or motivation to spend time at the beach. Even though the sea is beautiful and enjoyable, I’d suggest just using the hotel’s pool instead.
