Really lovely place to stay and the family is so welcoming. Very high attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and provision of clean towels and refreshments daily. Phi serves free green tea every once in a while and lets everyone around the table enjoy a feeling of community. Rooms include mosquito nets. However, if you are vegan or vegetarian I wouldn't recommend staying for longer than a few days because the food choices are limited. They did allow us to cook in their kitchen so that was our solution but beware that getting ingredients is a 5-min cycle or 20-minute walk alway and the market is only open for a few hours per day (6-8am and then 4-6pm). The owners did kindly assist us by buying some ingredients for us and including it in our bill, which we really appreciated. Location is very remote and beautiful, surrounded by multiple bodies of water. Locals in the small town are very friendly and get very excited to see foreigners. Free bicycles provided to cycle to the massive Bai Dinh pagoda complex, a serene bathhouse nearby, and a motorcycle can be rented to get to Trang An river complex. One major dissatisfaction is that they keep a dog in small cage on the property who is never let out.

What an amazing stay! We were the very first customers for this lovely family & we will gladly say that we were blown away by their kindness and the way they have set up this homestay. Everything was pristine, the views from here were beautiful and the staff extremely friendly. We were here over Yet (Lunar New Years) & the family invited us to have a traditional meal with them and to join their celebrations. The breakfast was amazing and included!!!! You can use bicycles for free, hire motorbikes and get your laundry done here. I would give 10 stars if possible! Best cultural & immersive experience in Vietnam.
