Perhentian Nemo Chalet

This Chalet offers you the best snorkeling spot to see Nemo and friends of all the spots in Perhentian. Its great to just walk into the waters and be surrounded by countless fish

Our first time staying at chalet and a bit not used to it lah. We booked our stay quite last minute and each night costs us about RM391 which is quite pricey but what to do coz we booked last minute and it’s peak seasons now. You can also arrange the airport transfer and ferry services with the chalet itself which can be convenient. The cost is about RM160 per pax for return trip. And there’s this marine fee or tax you have to pay before entering the island which costs you RM5 per pax if not mistaken. Room size is ok just that the shower is cold water, both of us have to struggle a bit on this. And yes, there will be some insects in the room like spider since this chalet is within the part of the nature itself. During the final night of our stay, we were informed that there’s an island wide water outage (both small & big island) due to influx of visitors to the islands which I find it baffling. That caused us inconvenience as we need to shower after being out for the whole day. They should do better by informing us rather than me asking them why is there no water supply when we reached back at the chalet. This area of this chalet is catered more to Muslim hence you won’t be able to find any alcohol here as there’s a Malay fishing village at this area. To get alcohol, you’ll have to go to Long Beach area (although it’s scarce but you’ll be able to find some). And, always utilise water taxi here because although some areas are reachable via walking but from here to Long Beach will take at least an hour by walking thru jungle trails. The water taxi charges will be doubled after 7PM & some said that after midnight it’ll be tripled. For water taxi, I’d recommend you to contact Sufian +60 13-233 2412 if you’d like someone who is prompt and punctual. If he can’t make it, he can even get his brother to fetch you. The room is ok, just that there’s no hot water for shower. Brace yourself if you’re not someone who can shower cold water. 🚿 Expect to go up and down from the stairs so if you’re here with elderly then maybe this place is not for you. There will be scheduled power outage from 8AM - 11AM and also 5PM - 7PM on daily basis due to the maintenance of their power supply or something like that. We realised that the power went off around 7AM and came back at 8AM which is slightly different from the schedule provided. Good thing is you can wake up early for breakfast, bad thing is it will interrupt your sleep.

We love the beautiful views from our room on 2nd floor. Can snorkel right in front of chalet, nemo checkpoint. Can order food via room delivery & very convenient, yummy too. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Thank you Nemo Chalet Perhentian. p/s: cuma banyak semut sket yea, staff bagi ridsect

Lovedd the stay. Tempat sgt best sbb betul2 boleh snorkel jumpa fishes dekat depan tu. View pagi yg menyegarkan. Facilities ok cuma boleh improve tambah hair dryer. Makanan pon x ada dkt chalet. Just some snacks. But you can easily walk to the nearby village and food court depan masjid di Kampung Nelayan , tak sampai 15 min berjalan. Staff tak selalu ada dkt reception so I'm not sure how they manage sbb bila call pon kdg x angkat. The room and toilet was clean tp ada clog dkt lantai , maybe just my room. Hope chalet akan baiki. Untuk couple berdua yg sihat tubuh badan sgt sesuai sbb tempat seakan private. Cuma tak suggest pd wanita pregnant/mslh lutut/ wheelchair etc sbb tangga dia fuhh cerunn kena hati2. Tu shj but I will come back and suggest other people to come and stay. Totally worth every penny
