Very Friendly and helpful staff, especially Hazim (I hope I spelt that right)

Excellent self-service breakfast, serving very good selections. Room was an attic with angled roof widow (facing mountain) and a balcony. Bed n pillow are comfortable, very soft. Hotel staffs are friendly. Information sheet inside room is detail, but don't have any hotel staff contact after reception hours. Abit of walking from bus n train station for guests without cars, but it relaxing if walking on path beside stream.

The only highlight of the hotel was smiley and helpful personnel (especially Luca who kindly helped us with the luggage). The room we got was not even on any website, I had booked a double room of around 20sq.m with balcony. Instead we got a tiny room under the roof where it was impossible to stand straight, the ceiling was low in the whole room. Besides the TV was not working (the display was freezing every couple of seconds). The same for the hair dryer, it was switching off every few seconds and took minutes before it would function again. When we saw the room we were asking if we can cancel the booking but getting money back was not sth the owner was willing to do. Neither the change of room throughout the stay was possible, even though every day plenty of guests were leaving and new ones coming. Could not wait to check out and leave the place, as we felt basically robbed of the room price which never corresponded to the description or the pictures on the website.

The hotel front desk was extremely helpful,promising to wait for us for late checkin. However, the only way to contact them is via email, so better make arrangements early. We got a suite room at the roof of two single bed rooms with shared toilet which has a fantastic view of the mountain. The included breakfast buffet was splendid. Would love to come back again, even though the location was 10minutes walk away, though very near to the Norma supermarket and relatively direct route to Partenkirchen Altstadt
